Community Guidelines

Welcome to edusolum! Our community is built on respect, learning, and collaboration. These guidelines help ensure a safe and positive environment for all users.
1. Be Respectful and Kind
Treat all community members with respect and courtesy. We have zero tolerance for:
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Personal attacks or insults
- Doxxing or sharing others' personal information without consent
2. Keep Content Appropriate
This is an educational platform. All content must be appropriate for a learning environment:
- No explicit or adult content: No nudity, sexual content, or references to explicit material
- No violence or gore: Avoid graphic descriptions of violence or threatening language
- No illegal activities: Do not promote or discuss illegal activities
- Stay on topic: Keep discussions relevant to education and the course material
3. Respect Intellectual Property
- Do not share copyrighted materials without permission
- Properly attribute sources and give credit where due
- Do not plagiarize or present others' work as your own
- Respect the intellectual property rights of course creators and other users
4. Maintain Account Security
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Do not share your account with others
- Do not attempt to access others' accounts
- Report any security vulnerabilities to our team immediately
5. Participate Constructively
We encourage active participation and discussion:
- Ask questions and help others when you can
- Provide constructive feedback, not just criticism
- Stay open-minded and respectful of different perspectives
- Contribute meaningfully to discussions
6. No Spam or Self-Promotion
- Do not spam comments or discussions with repetitive content
- No excessive self-promotion or advertising
- Do not post links to malicious websites or phishing attempts
- Avoid posting off-topic or irrelevant content
7. Follow Platform Rules
- One account per person - multiple accounts are not allowed
- Do not attempt to manipulate rankings, votes, or engagement metrics
- Do not use automated tools or bots without explicit permission
- Respect rate limits and do not attempt to overwhelm our systems
Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Content removal: Offending posts, comments, or content will be deleted
- Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a warning
- Temporary suspension: Repeated violations may lead to temporary account suspension
- Permanent ban: Serious or repeated violations will result in permanent account blacklisting
Automated Content Moderation: We use automated systems to detect and block harmful content. Users who post content containing nudity, violence, slurs, or hate speech will receive an immediate alert and their account will be automatically blacklisted within 5 seconds of the violation.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Use the report feature to flag the content
- Contact our support team at Contact Page
- Provide specific details about the violation
We review all reports promptly and take appropriate action. False reports or abuse of the reporting system may result in consequences for the reporter.
Appeal Process
If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or blacklisted:
- Contact us through the Contact Page with your Google account email
- Provide a detailed explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
- Our team will review your case within 2-4 business days
- Decisions made after appeal review are final
Updates to Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Continued use of edusolum after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated guidelines. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
